Making Sherbet

Instructions:

1. Wash your hands

4. get a pile of the 3 powders
5. using your popsicle stick mkx some of each powder 
6. Taste the Sherbet
7. if there is too much baking soda add more citric acid 
8. if there is too muvh citric acid add more baking soda 
9. if it doesnt taste good add more raro

Discussion:

Why did the sherbet not foam up on the paper?

Becasue it need some liquid or Saliva or anthing that is made with water becasue it is all power and nothing will happend if you don't have any liquid or Saliva or anything with water in it.

Eating hot chilli

 Aim:I want to find out how to get rid of burning chilli off my tongue.

• Chilli
• Popsicle

• Coca-cola
• Timer
• Cup

Instructions

1. Get your equipment.
2. Scoop some chilli onto your stick.
3. start your timer and eat the chilli.
4. stop the timer after 4 minutes.
5. Rate how hot you mouth is.
6. do experiment again but drink water after 2 minutes drink water.
7. do the experiment again but drink coca-cola.
8. drink milk

Result: I wasnt here for the result but this is what one of my classmate said for her results.

The first chilli I did was without water and I am scoring it a 10/10 for the burning sensation

The second  chilli I did was with water and I am scoring it a 9/10 for the burning sensation

The third time I had chilli I did it with coca-cola and I am scoring it a 10/10 the burning sensation

The fourth time I had chilli I did it with milk and I am scoring it a 10/10 for the burning sensation

Bacteria around the school

Aim: I want to find out what type of bacteria are around our school.

Method:

Equipment-

• Cue tips cotton buds
• agar plates
• Marker pen
• cellotape

Instructions

1. Wash your Hands.
2. Get your Equipment.
3. Use a marker pen to write your name and location on the lid.
4. Wet the cue tip and swab the surface.
5. Gently swab the agar plate.
6. Tape around the edges of the agar plate.
7. Put the agar plate in an incubator overnight.
8. Observe the plate the next day. 

Science- measuring coke and mentors

• Paper towels 
• Spoon    
• Mug
• Messing spoon

Instructions:

1. Get the equipment needed.
2. put one cup of milk in the pot or microwave.
3. heat the milk in the microwave or on the stove until its steaming. '
4. add 4 teaspoons of vinegar
5. add the milk into the cup with the vinegar
6. stir the mixture with a spoon
7. stack 4 layers of paper towels on a surface that is safe to get damp
8. scoop out of the curds with a spoon and place them on the paper towels
9. fold the paper towels over the curd and press down to absorb to the exudes liquid
10. colour, shape and mold the dough as you like.
11. put all your creations on paper towels and let them dry over night.

Gummy Bear Osmosis

 Aim: I want to find out what will happen to Gummy  Bears when they are left in all different kind of  liquids.

2. get you petri and right your name,condition,on each Petri Dishes 
3. Then turn on the you scale and weigh your Gummy Bear  
4. Then add the liquids 

Edible Slime

 Aim: I want to find out how to make edible slime.

3. add icing suger 
4. mix icing suger and Marshmallows together 
5. wait 10 min for it to cool down 
6. mix in more icing suger with your hands 
7. add oil if needed

Skittle Colours

 Aim: I want to find out what happens when you put skittle in water.

Discussion: Why did the colour leave the skittle? Because the suger coding dissolved in the water 

Why did the colours not mixing?

Because the colours have a barear so they dont mix.

Beaker: A beaker is made for carrying around liquids without getting it all on the ground.

Bunsen burner: A Bunsen burner is made to make a fire out of gas.

Gauze mat: A gauze mat is made to sport container such as a beaker 

Funnel: A funnel is to help a liquid of some sort into a smaller container.

Test tube: A test tube is to hold some liquids for testing 

Conical flask: A Canonical flask is for mesmerising  and holding all liquids.

Spatula: A spatula is used for scraping off thing that are stuck to a sunface.

Measurina Cylinder: A measuring cylinder is for measuring liquids.

Scissor tongs: scissor tongs are to hold a container that is hot.

Tripod: A tripod is to hold a container well it melts over the Bunsen burner.

How To light A Bunsen Burner

 Aim:

I want to find out how to safety light a Bunsen burner.

Method:

Equipment 

• Heat Mat or Matches
• Lighter 
• Bunsen burner 
• Safety glasses

Instructions 

1. Get all your Equipment needed. 
2. Put your safety glasses on.
3. Put the Bunsen Burner on the heat proof mat.
4. Connect the hose to the gas tap.
5. Turn the collar to the air hole.
6. Slightly light the match or light over the gas but do not turn the gas tap on before you light it.
7. Tie your hair up so its not in your face.
8. If your not using it turn the gas off.

Hands on Fire

 Aim: 

I want to find out how to set myself on fire~SAFETY

Method:  Equipment 

• Large container of water 
• Detergent (liquid soap)
• Hoses 
• Gas 
• lighter 

Instructions:

1.   Get all the Equipment.
2. fill your large container with water. (2 cm deep)
3. But some liquid soap in the water and mix it slowly.
4. Connect hose to gas tank.
5. Turn on gas and and bubble it into the water.
6. tie your hair back.
7. roll up your sleeves  pass your elbow.
8. wet your hands and arms with water.
9. with two hand scoop the bubbles only.
10. then take two steps forward. 
11.  light the bubbles. 
12. Then open both of your hands and give a high five.
