Our hero-A Local Hero

In our 7/8 class we have been doing stuff around local hero's. We had to make a DLO about a local hero that we know about our local hero's and what we think they would do as job and what they help with. With our local hero's we had to pick out of some and I picked St John. I made a poster about what I know about St John. They got involved because someone got hurt and they needed help but they needed someone to come get them so that's how they got involved. They help us a lot because they help people that need it they also help people when they have get hurt. We had to read about it before we made the DLO but this is what I picked to read because I think it was a good one to read about The Earthquake St John 

Next time I think I should use something else because I feel like I need to make it more interesting and because I feel like I can do better. Then I did I also think that I can do better and add more and read more so then I know more then I should know.

Our group did good we made a kahoot and we think it turned out good and we like how we did it because  we added a video to all of the thing that we did we had to do it on a slide because we think doing it on a slide is better then doing it on a kahoot. What didn't go well is that we did it on a kahoot and then we found out that we couldn't do it on a kahoot because it would be to hard to do it. Next time I think I might add more information on the slide so then its not ask boring and so then the questions are not the same the hole time.

                            

Our Hero-Political Decision-Making

in our 7/8 class has made a treaty. We had to look at a slide and watch a video up to 3 minutes about how it is about our treaty, the video is 5 minutes long but we only needed to watch up to 3 minutes because what we where meant to be watching was with in that 3 minutes. We select our Prime minster by voting for a party. The party we had to chose a leader that we had to work on and what we had to do. We vote for 2 thing one for the party and for a person to tell problems from the community to the government we had to do 2 thing which is community and the government. Party means group of people that is like a lot of people that is a party. We only call it a party because at a party there is a hole lot of people so they call it a party.  This is the link we watched Introduction to the New Zealand Parliament

Every 3 year we have an election that can change the prime minster. If we need a new law we will have to drat if first then it gets sent to the government to check and then they say it a good law then they can see if it a good law. and they could pick if they want to change it and they could see if they want to change it if they think its good law. We made a class treaty a few weeks ago how we it out treaty was we went into 4 groups and we all had our car value and we all had to write 5 things to do with our car value. Then we passed the sheet to another group and we got to change it if we didn't agree and we keeped passing it around tell we go our own one back then we all gave it to the teacher and the class agreed to our treaty then we all signed. 

Famous singers- Counting the beat

 For counting the beat we had to do stuff around Famous singers and we had to do a slide that we had to do 2 Famous singers that we know and we had to right about them and we had to write some thing about why they are Famous and how they are a Famous singers. We had to do 2 people and I put it all on a slide this is what I did on my slide and what I think about them. 

What I know about them and how they got Famous they only got  Famous because of there singing and because they are Famous because of there singing and because of how much people have viewed there singing and because of how much people like her songs. 

This is what I think and what I know about them and what I think about Them and how they got  Famous for and how they got  Famous it also tells you how old they are and how much people have seen there videos that they have done and because of how much people like there singing because of how good there sining is adn how good they are at doing all there song and planing there song before they sing it  and how much people like there singing and how .
