Dinosaurs in New Zealand

Dinosaurs in New Zealand

What evidence is there that new Zealand had Dinosaurs

Although it is hardly ever you will find fossils because you will never see them all the time due to the conditions in new Zealand only small parts of bones and a few vertebrate have been found here.

What is a fossil and what information do they give you ?
A fossil  is an old bone and they tell you what they eat and how lone the bones have been in the ground for.

Which dinosaur do you think would have service the best in New Zealand?
I think Brontosaurus Dinosaurs because they eat trees and we have a lot of plants and trees in the world.

  1. Very interesting Cayleigh! My son would have loved this - he is obsessed with dinosaurs! I didn't know that by looking at a fossil bone you can tell what foods that dinosaur ate. Next time try and include two or three images of your topic that you are talking about as it adds so much to your explanation. Well done!
