Aim: I want to find out how red cabbage can tell if a liquid is an acid ir a base.
Research:
Method; Equipment
- Beaker
- Water
- Cabbage
- Test tubes
- Acid was hyotrochgloric acid
- Base was sodlium hyoloxide
- dropper
Instructions
- Get your Equipment.
- Wash you hands.
- Then break your cabbage up into little bits.
- Then add your cabbage in your beaker with warm water.
- Then get your test tubes and add you water that you put the cabbage in but don't put cabbage in the test tube just put the watter useing the dropper.
- then add hyotrochgloric acid or sodlium hyoloxide to your water in your test tubes but dont fill it to the top of the test tube.
- Then keep adding differnet kinds of hyotrochgloric acid or sodlium hyoloxide and see what colour you end up with.
